Welcome to The Asian Dessert Lady — my little corner of the internet dedicated to the not too sweet, comforting, and nostalgic desserts I grew up eating.What started as a hobby turned into a borderline concerning obsession with freshly made grass jelly.So here we are — a small online dessert shop run by me, Robin, the Asian Dessert Lady, making beloved and classic Asian desserts with organic and clean ingredients.Currently on the menu is — you guessed it — FRESH GRASS JELLY!It’s made in small batches using organic Mesona leaves sourced from Taiwan. And unlike most grass jelly that comes from cans or powders, or loaded with sugar in boba drinks, mine is made the traditional way using whole Mesona leaves that are slow brewed for several hours. Outside of Asia, it’s nearly impossible to find grass jelly made this way (unless you make it yourself).It’s lightly herbal, refreshing, not too sweet, good for you, and most importantly tastes incredible.Because fresh grass jelly is delicate, it’s best kept simple. Serve it chilled, straight from the fridge — just scoop some into a bowl and enjoy!
